ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

Angel in the Sky is a non-profit organization that was established in 2016. It was started in loving memory of Christopher T. Skelton, David Arthur Colameco, and Debra Pal with the sole purpose of “shining a light on suicide awareness” through prevention, education, and the power of music. Suicide is a leading cause of death, and we at Angel in the Sky are dedicated to showing those affected that there is help and hope available. Not only do we want to save lives, but we want to stop the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health through these actions.

~ EDUCATING the public about suicide prevention and mental health.

~ ENCOURAGING those that have been affected or lost someone to suicide.

~ EQUIPPING those that are struggling with proper help and resources.

~ EMPOWERING communities to take a stand against suicide.

We believe whether people are suffering from mental illness, addiction, bullying, etc. “suicide is a permanent fix for a temporary problem” and is 100% preventable. Learn more about Angel in the Sky by following us on Facebook and Instagram.

BRIANA DOMENICA

__________

CEO & FOUNDER

Briana Domenica is a Nashville recording artist, singer-songwriter, inspirational keynote speaker, and suicide prevention advocate. She was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts and raised in south Florida. She started performing shortly after she could walk and talk. By the time Briana was seventeen, she knew music was her destiny. Her musical performances include singing at Carnegie Hall, in Disney’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot, Love in Action, and Heart for Recovery.  Music has also taken to places she never could have imagined having toured Prague, Vienna, Poland, England, Holland, and Belgium for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. She has devoted herself to her music career releasing multiple projects like Shine, Testimony, and her latest album, Warrior in Me. The songstress loves writing songs and signed a publishing deal with Song Rocket music. Every time she puts pen to paper, she gives listeners a piece of her heart and a look into her soul in hopes of inspiring others through the universal language of music. However, after losing several loved ones to the choice of suicide, including her oldest brother, she became equally passionate about suicide prevention and awareness. In May of 2016 she founded Angel in the Sky in an attempt to turn family heartache and tragedy into something good and help others who are struggling with life’s pains and stresses.
